Security System Installer

Job duties (depending on experience) :

• Install and run various cabling systems according to established plans.
• Install and connect access control boxes, power supplies and control devices.
• Installation, programming and maintenance of various alarm and video surveillance systems.
• Installation, maintenance and repair of other technology equipment such as access control, intrusion and alarm software.
• NVR installation and programming.
• Configuration of network and components according to connection plan.
• Solve technical problems.
• Participate in team meetings to optimize project delivery.
• Any other related task(s).

Profile required :

• DEP in security systems installation and repair or equivalent experience (an asset).
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license, with a driving record to back it up.
• Hold a valid Electronic Security Systems Officer license issued by the Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP).
• Hold a certificate of competency from the Commission de la construction du Québec.
• Ability to work efficiently and safely at heights.
• Self-reliance, resourcefulness and integrity.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Focus on customer service and advanced communication skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Bilingualism (an asset).

The schedule is 44 hours per week.

Although the vast majority of projects are in the Greater Montreal area, travel is required for certain projects.
